Upon opening, Fairmont Tokyo will offer 217 rooms ranging from 52 – 278 square meters, situated from the 36th to 42nd floors, each with breathtaking, unobstructed views through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. Warm-hued sen wood (Japanese lightweight hardwood), quartzite stone, and refined brass accents foster an ambiance of timeless elegance throughout guest rooms. Elegantly crafted seating areas, inspired by the traditional Japanese ’Engawa’, create a transitory space between the interior and exterior. Guest bathrooms enhance a calming sense of serenity with the use of natural stone textures alongside Fairmont guest favorite, Le Labo bath products.
Thoughtfully designed by internationally acclaimed BAR Studio, the hotel’s interiors blend the city’s elegant heritage with modern design, showcasing rich textures and subtle cues referencing traditional Japanese techniques such as weaving and ‘Kintsugi’ in the property’s art and textiles.
