Cartier celebrated the launch of their Nature Sauvage high jewellery collection with an intimate gala held at the iconic National Gallery Singapore on Friday (25th April). In honour of this historic milestone, Cartier reaffirms its cultural commitment with Singapore through its participation in the City of Others exhibition, where select creations from the Maison’s collections are showcased within the National Gallery. Available for viewing at National Gallery Singapore from 2 April to 14 August 2025, the City of Others exhibition highlights the evolution of savoir faire through key works in lacquer, decorative art, and high jewellery.
Hosted by Yanina Novitskaya, Chief Executive Officer of Cartier Southeast Asia & Oceania, and Veronica Prat van Thiel, Cartier International High Jewellery Director, the gala gathered familiar faces like British actress Gemma Chan, and South Korean actor Byeon Woo-seok. The night was filled with dance by Paris-based creative duo I Could Never Be a Dancer and led by Olivier Casamayou and Carine Charaire, and a gastronomic experience was crafted exclusively for guests by Chef Jimmy Lim, the Singapore-born, Taiwan-based chef-proprietor of the three-Michelin-starred JL Studio.
The evening continued on with a performance entitled, ‘Murmurs of Forest’ by SAtheCollective, a Singapore-based multidisciplinary collective known for pioneering cultural innovation through sound and storytelling.
