Island Atelier returns to Sentosa Cove on Friday 17 April and Saturday 18 April 2026, bringing together a carefully curated mix of over 40 independent designers and lifestyle brands for a two-day retail showcase at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove.
Founded by retail entrepreneurs Emily Greally and Jacquie Hourihane, Island Atelier has evolved from the much-loved Sentosa Fair into a refined platform designed to connect emerging designers and independent boutiques with Singapore’s style-conscious community. Held in the light-filled Great Room at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, the event invites hotel guests, Sentosa residents and visitors from across the city to discover independent brands in a relaxed coastal setting.
What’s New for Island Atelier

This year’s Spring edition introduces a new two-day format spanning Friday and Saturday, designed to accommodate different schedules while creating two distinct experiences for visitors. On Friday 17 April 2026 from 4pm to 9pm, Island Atelier kicks off with Atelier Insider, an exclusive preview welcoming VIP guests, media and early shoppers to browse the collections. The evening will culminate in an island and coastal-inspired fashion show staged in the hotel foyer, celebrating the relaxed, resort-ready style that defines many of the brands on show.
On Saturday 18 April 2026 from 9am to 6pm, the event opens to the wider community, transforming into a lively and family-friendly day out for Sentosa residents and visitors alike. Programming throughout the day will include children’s activities by Evolve Arts including crafts and face painting, as well as curated activities by Agora Colearning. Not to be missed is the cult favourite sweets from The Candy Store of Tanglin Mall, bringing a playful touch to the experience. Several new elements will also debut at this edition. The Sale Salon introduces a dedicated shopping space featuring archive pieces, samples and end-of-line collections from participating brands, while a collaboration with the Singapore Fashion Council will spotlight emerging local designers.
Key Anchor Brands at Island Atelier

From art to fashion, jewellery to childrenswear and homewares, Island Atelier’s curated line-up reflects the breadth and creativity of the independent retail scene. Anchor brands participating in this edition include She Creates Stories, a Singapore boutique known for its curated edit of Australian fashion labels suited to tropical living. Founder Bex, a former international fashion buyer who began her career in the UK retail industry, has held buying roles across London, Hong Kong and Australia before launching the boutique to bring a fresh perspective on relaxed, resort-ready fashion to Singapore shoppers. Artisan handbags from Desti Saint, the Singapore-based label known for its Chinoiserie-inspired aesthetic. Founder Desti Saint draws on her global perspective and appreciation for Asian artistry, crafting pieces from personally sourced luxury fabrics and leathers, often finished with hand-carved jade accents and intricately woven leather details.
Also featured is Sayoko Jewels, founded by Japanese designer Sayoko and inspired by the quiet beauty of Japan’s natural landscapes. The brand centres on Akoya pearls, paired with 18K gold and platinum, with each piece handcrafted by skilled artisans. Defined by refined minimalism and a soft, natural luminosity, the collection offers timeless jewellery designed to be worn every day and treasured over time.
The event will also debut an exclusive collection by White Ginger, known for its bold, vibrant prints and beautifully crafted fabrics designed for life in sunny climates. The collection will be launched at Island Atelier before becoming available at Cove Collection, the much-loved boutique founded by Emily Greally and Jacquie Hourihane housed within W Singapore – Sentosa Cove. “Island Atelier was created by small retailers for small retailers,” say Emily and Jacquie. “With each edition we take what we’ve learned and refine the experience — from the brands we curate to how we market the event and support our vendors. Our goal is to create a platform where independent businesses can connect with the right audience and grow.”
Island Atelier is open to the public and free to enter, inviting guests to explore the curated line-up of independent brands, meet the designers behind them and enjoy a relaxed day of discovery by the water.
