Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit Invites Travellers To Experience Asoke, Beyond The Ordinary Programme
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit is inviting travelers to see a different side of Asoke with Asoke, Beyond the Ordinary, a new programme of guest experiences comprising neighborhood discoveries, local journeys, social dining and drinking moments. Led by an expert City Curator, and brought to life across the hotel’s dining venues, this program introduces new ways to enjoy Asoke from dawn till dusk and beyond.

“Being South East Asia’s first Canopy hotel, we want guests to experience Bangkok beyond what they already know,”  said Lucky Ou, general manager of Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit. “Our City Curator helps make those connections feel natural, introducing guests to the places, stories and everyday experiences that give Asoke its character. Asoke, Beyond the Ordinary  brings that idea to life this, whether guests are exploring the area with us or ending the day over a drink back at the hotel.”

Discover Asoke, One Street at a Time

Every Wednesday morning, guests can immerse in the daily rhythm of local life with the Neighborhood Discovery Crawl, a 90-minute guided walk through Asoke’s side streets and lesser-seen corners. Led by the hotel’s City Curator, The complimentary experience focuses on the details of daily life that can easily be missed when moving through one of Bangkok’s busiest districts, introducing guests to local stories, places and perspectives beyond its better-known landmarks.

The walk takes place every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and is complimentary for hotel guests. Registration is available at the Front Desk.

Take the Local Route along Saen Saeb Canal

On alternate Saturdays, guests can experience another side of the city with the Saen Saeb Canal Journey invites guests to experience the city as locals do, traveling via  two distinctly Bangkok modes of transport.

The journey begins with a MuvMi electric tuk-tuk ride from the hotel to Asoke Pier, before guests board a public boat along the Saen Saeb Canal towards Pratunam. Moving through one of the city’s long-established waterways offers a different perspective on Bangkok, as homes, streets and everyday activity unfold along the canal banks.

This approximately two- to three- hour experience ends in Pratunam, where guests can continue exploring independently. Saen Saeb Canal Journey  is priced at THB 550 per person, inclusive of the MuvMi transfer, canal boat fare and a Canopy Cap. Reservations can be made at the Front Desk.

From City Exploring to Social Evenings

At Cante, Tiempo de la Caña brings a Spanish-inspired take on the early evening ritual.  From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily, guests can settle in over a chilled caña accompanied by a complimentary tapas bite, creating an easy transition from a day in the city to the evening ahead.

On Friday and Saturday nights, SoolHaus Sessions turns up the tempo with Korean-inspired cocktails, late-night snacks and a rotating line-up of DJs. From 9:00 p.m., music and cocktails create a lively weekend atmosphere designed for both hotel guests and Bangkok locals.

Together, the experiences behind Asoke, Beyond the Ordinary reflect Canopy Hotels’ approach to travel: giving guests a comfortable home base while opening the door to the destination around them. From a quiet street discovered on a morning walk to a canal boat across the city or a late-night drink downstairs, the programme gives travelers more ways to make Bangkok part of the stay.
